A MJR. Ferreira, Lda (“Majorfe”, “We” or “Company”) is responsible for processing the personal data collected in connection with its business relationship with the Customer (or “User”).

 

1. Website

The Majorfe website is exclusively informational, allowing Users to browse the various pages to learn about the products sold by the Company.

Majorfe does not conduct direct online sales through its website. However, the website uses cookies and similar technologies to ensure it functions properly (such as the support chat) and, with your consent, to collect anonymous browsing statistics (Google Analytics) in order to improve the user experience.

Through the website, users can contact the Majorfe team via WhatsApp, email, or phone. In these cases, direct links are provided to facilitate contact through external channels, without requesting any data directly on the website. All communications are initiated voluntarily by the User through their own messaging or calling apps.

 

2. Data Collection and Purpose

 Majorfe collects personal data for two main purposes:

  1. Sales Management: Process orders, deliver products, and issue invoices (Contract fulfillment and legal obligation).

  2. Website Operation and Statistics: To provide customer support via chatbot and analyze website traffic to improve the user experience (Consent and Legitimate Interest).

Types of Data Collected:

  • Identification and Contact Information: Name, address, phone number, email address, and tax ID number (provided voluntarily by the Customer for billing and shipping purposes).

  • Browsing and Usage Data: IP address, device type, chatbot conversation history, and anonymous statistical data collected through cookies (upon consent via the cookie banner).

If the Customer provides data belonging to third parties, the Customer must inform them in advance about this Privacy Policy.

Marketing: Majorfe does not sell your data to third parties or use it for direct marketing campaigns without your prior explicit consent.

 

 

3. Data Processing and Security

Majorfe implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, or modification.

The processing is carried out using computer systems and secure tools, and only by authorized personnel.

In some cases, data may be shared with external service providers (e.g., transportation companies, IT and accounting services), designated as Subcontractors. They operate under contract and in compliance with data protection laws.

The updated list of subcontractors can be requested by email.

 

4. User Rights (GDPR)

Pursuant to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the User has the following rights:

  • Access: To find out whether your data is being processed and to access it;
  • Correction: Request the correction of incorrect or outdated information;
  • Deletion: Request the deletion of your personal data (“right to be forgotten”);
  • Restriction: To restrict the processing of your data under certain circumstances;
  • Objection: Object to the processing when it is based on legitimate interests;
  • Data Portability: Request that your data be transferred to another entity;
  • Withdrawing Consent: Where applicable, you may withdraw your consent at any time;
  • File a complaint: With the National Data Protection Commission (CNPD) or another competent authority.
